Filmography from IMDb
FYI: He grew up in a white-collar family in a blue-collar town in Southern Oregon. He was taken by movies at age 5. At age 15 he took a drama class with a teacher named Robert Burgoyne. He auditioned for a schoolplay called "The Miracle Worker" and got a tiny part in the begining of it. Later that year he got one of the leads in a play that the teacher was directing. At that time he was a hippiekid with long hair and he played the drums. the crowd didnt accept him.(he took drumming lessons in the fifth grade and played in the high school marching band). He studied music and drama in college. He attended the University of Oregon in Eugene for 2 years before moving to L.A.

He struggled for 7 years but didnt return to Oregon, he never gave up. He had to leave the business to gain a fresh perspective a couple of times. Once he went off to Europe with a backpack. He has also backpacked in the USA. He met a producer while bartending at Mortons restaurant only 3 months after he came from Europe and had Jon audition for the role of Frank the bartender on "Call to Glory". The show was canceled after a few episodes. Then came the soap "Rituals", which he conciders his first big break. He was almost fired after 4 days because his acting was very bad, but then the producer (Jorn Winther) decided to teach him and Jon got better. He enjoyed "Rituals" a lot. After 6 months the show got canceled. Then a couple of months later in 1985 he went on to Santa Barbara and he hated it. He thinks it was the worst encounter of his professionallife. He had to work very long days, the worst being on a Saturday at 7 am rehersing and hanging out all day long and being finally called to tape his scenes at 1 am Sunday morning. The cast and production people very terrific but the atmosfere was very bad. Us against them and having to look out for what you did and how to behave. 6 weeks later he was working on location in Texas in a film called "The Alamo-13 Days of Glory" with Alec Baldwin. The project was followed by episodics and movies of the week and everything was going great but still he didnt feel right, so he left for 2 1/2 years and lived off his savings until he was refreshed and totally broke. He even got new agents. He then got a role in GH, a non contract role for 3 months to pay his credit card bills. He has portrayed Kevin Collins and his psycho twin Ryan Chamberlain for 6 years. He is also on GHs spin-off PC.

He met Eileen Davidson (Kelly Capwell) 4 years ago. He was introduced to him by a friend. He married her in May, 1997 in Cambria, CA after dating for 3 years. They live in Sherman Oaks, CA with their 2 cats and 3 dogs. Instead of wedding gift, the couple asked the guests to make a donation to Para Los Ninos, they got quite a lot to give.

Other movies he has made are "The Seduction" with Morgan Fairchild and Andrew Stevens and "Listen to Me" with Roy Scheider and Kirk Douglas. Jon is a skilled scuba diver, an avid skier and an expert in martial arts. He also likes to travel. He is 6 ft 1 inch tall and has brown hair and eyes. He has also his own band called High Lonesome, he plays the drums. Also Larry Pointdexter (Justin Moore) is also in the band.
